A beautiful country house hotel set in the ancient hill village of Estoi in the Algarve, Portugal. We have eighteen en-suite bedrooms, each with their own private terrace, where your personal maid serves breakfast every morning.

With stunning views across the gardens, countryside and sea, Monte do Casal is in a unique and perfect setting for those wishes to see the ‘real’ Algarve. With an emphasis on comfort, personal service and fine dining, it provides an idyllic surrounding in a very relaxing atmosphere.

All rooms and suites are spacious in layout and individually designed. Each morning breakfast is brought to your private terrace by your maid. Deluxe Rooms, Junior Suites and Suites boasts views of the garden and sea. Bathrooms are of high quality, with white marble double basins, an extra-large rain forest shower head and Molton Brown products.

Experience a memorable candlelit dinner in a beautiful and relaxed setting with friendly and attentive service. During the warmer months, dine on the beautiful restaurant terrace with its gentle trickling fountain and double pergola with flowering hanging baskets. Admire the views of the the lakes and waterfalls, surrounded by palm trees, bougainvillea, oleander and honeysuckle.

By Car (from the airport):
- Follow the road straight on and follow the sign for S. Bras de Alportel, which leads via Estoi.
- After about 4 minutes, take the last exit for S. Bras de Alportel. This will lead you onto the road from Faro town northbound.
- Drive straight on for about 6 minutes, going through 2 sets of traffic lights, until you reach the sign reading S. Bras de Alportel / Estoi and turn right.
- Keep following the signs for Estoi / Olhao.
- Estoi is basically one main street. At the top of the high street, take a sharp right and then immediately a sharp left.
- As you do this, you will see yellow signs reading ‘To Monte do Casal Restaurant’.
- Go to the end of the one-way street and by the school on your right-hand side, take a left onto Moncarapacho Road, where there is another sign, which reads ‘Monte do Casal Restaurant 2,800 metres’. The hotel is approximately 5 minutes (2.8 km) along this road on the left.
