If cancelled up to 6 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged. If cancelled up to 5 days before date of arrival, the first night will be charged. If cancelled up to 3 days before date of arrival, 50 percent of all nights will be charged.

The hotel offers 3 different atmospheres: the palace, garden and spa guest rooms. The palace rooms, which once accommodated the Duke of Wellington and the King Miguel of Portugal, have the charm and romanticism of days gone and offer a stay in history. Offering direct access to our serene botanical garden, the garden rooms overlook the stage for the love affair of Pedro and Inês. The modernly designed spa rooms boast individual jacuzzis and offer stunning views of the Quinta’s woods and Coimbra.
The palace has several rooms and verandas that offer perfect retreats to read or enjoy a quiet conversation. The Quinta’s library, completely covered with panels of exotic woods, has thousands of ancient books that narrate the history of Portugal and of the family that for centuries has welcomed guests in this Estate of Tears.

Children and extra beds
All children are welcome. One child under 2 years stays free of charge in a baby cot. One child from 3 to 12 years is charged 50 % of the room stay per night and person in an extra bed. One older child or adult is charged EUR 46.00 per night and person in an extra bed. Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 1.
