Next to various dining and nightlife possibilities, Cascais features a number of interesting historic attractions. Pay a visit to Nossa Senhora da Assunção and Nossa Senhora dos Navegantes, both churches that have been erected in the 18th century, or the fortress. Other attractions include the Castro Guimarães Museum and the Sea Museum. Guincho Beach is a great spot for water sport enthusiasts.

The closure is due to the hotel’s renovation second phase works, to be concluded on the 31st of January 2009, and which will contemplate the rooms on floors 3, 2, 1 and 0 as well as the restaurant and bar.
