Quinta Do Paraiso - AL

This Moorish-style hotel is set 300,000 m² grounds and offers a pool and several restaurants. It is a 5-minute walk from Carvoeiro’s centre.

There are a variety of large apartments with self-catering facilities such as fully-equipped kitchenettes and a seating area. They are decorated with light-coloured furnishings and have tiled flooring.

Quinta do Paraíso has 2 restaurants, one serving a rich dinner buffet prepared with local ingredients, and the other serves Italian and Portuguese specialities. Meals can be served indoors, as well as al fresco on the terrace, which overlooks the pool. The Caravela Cocktail bar serves a range of exotic drinks by the pool.

The Miniclub Q offers a range of fun activities for children throughout the day. The Alojamento Local also features tennis courts and a diving centre.

The Quinta Do Paraiso is 1 km from Praia do Carvoeiro and is surrounded by well kept gardens filled with fig, almond, olive trees and exotic plants.

In a 5-minute walk you can reach the picturesque fishing village of Carvoeiro. The resort offers various types of accommodation and a variety of restaurants and bars. There are several sports and entertainment facilities on the resort and an animation team will keep you and/or your children amused and happy.

The studios and apartments have a quiet location and either a balcony or terrace. Some rooms have a garden and pool view.

Start your day at the breakfast buffet at Restaurant Rabelo. Trattoria Oliveira serves Italian and Portuguese specialities. Guests that have opted for half-board are offered a salad buffet, soup, main course and dessert. A special kids menu is also available. Caravela Pool Bar serves snacks during the day and, in the evening, features regularly entertainment such as live music, folklore or karaoke.

From the Airport:
By Car:
- Follow the main road.
- After approximately 4 km take the exit to the right in the direction of Lisbon, Portimao and Albufeira.
- Follow the road in the direction of the A22/IP 1 (name of the highway between east and west of the Algarve).
- After approximately 11 km take the highway in the direction of Lisbon, Portimao and Lagos.
- The highway takes you west, passing Loulé, Boliqueime, Vilamoura and Albufeira.
- The highway IP 1 goes north in the direction of Lisbon.
- Stay on in the direction of Lagos.
- After another 20 km, take the exit for Lagoa/Silves and then follow the signs to Carvoeiro.
- At the 2nd traffic light in Lagoa turn right in the direction of Carvoeiro.
- After approximataly 500 metres, turn right at the roundabout in the direction of Sesmarias.
- At the roundabout that follows you go straight up to the next square where you turn slightly to the right and follow the signs for Quinta do Paraiso and Sesmarias.
- After approximately 300 metres you turn left following the sign for Quinta do Paraiso.
- Drive down the road through the resort until you reach the reception.

While you are in the reception, please do not leave any valuables in the car and lock the car.

Please note that 50% deposit must be paid by bank transfer at time of booking.

Also note that the hotel's facilities are limited from November through March as follows:

-- The pool bar, mini-market and mini-club are closed.
-- Breakfast and half-board are not available.
-- The reception is open Monday - Friday, from 9:00-18:00.

During these months, guests have free use of the tennis courts, and receive a discount for several nearby golf courses.
