The area around Zakopane is ideal for mountain biking and horse rides. A railway journey to Kasprowy Wierch, Gubałówka and Butorowy Wierch will uncover the true beauty of the landscape. In Zakopane, Krupówk street, a 10 minute walk fron the hotel, is lined with restaurants, stalls and pubs.

Flood lit slopes in Nosal, Gubałówka and Polana Szymoszkowa allow late evening skiing. East of Zakopane in Czorsztyn, lies the medieval castle of Niedzica, perched above a vast lake.

Travel information

A bus from Krakow to Zakopane costs around 10 PLN and takes 2 hours.

From Krakow by car:
- Follow the E77 motorway south for Myslenice, then Rabka.
- Continue onto the E47, following signs for Nowy Targ then Zakopane.
