Area information
Dating back to the 6th century, Wroclaw’s charming Old Town is home to countless pubs and cafés, narrow streets, renovated tenement homes, the Town Hall and the impressive Market Square. There are also a number of examples of Gothic and Renaissance architecture, the University with the Baroque Leopoldinum Hall and Marianum Oratory, Tum Island, the Panorama of Raclawice - a huge painting of the battle at Raclawice, the People's Hall and the Botanical Garden - one of the oldest in Europe.
