Area information
By staying at our hostel you will be surrounded by historic houses and charming streets. The area has an attractive prospect and atmosphere. The location is ideal as we are close to the city centre, subway and river. Our hostel is situated in an ancient house in Warsaw 30 metres from the market place of the Old Town.

Saxon Garden – 1.1 km:
The oldest public park in Warsaw, landscaped in the English romantic style. Along with the ruined palace it was destroyed during the war, but it has been partially reconstructed.
Łazienki Royal Park – 3.5 km:
At 80 hectares this is the largest park in Warsaw. It features two temples created by a Polish royal architect, statues and the lakeside Lazienki palace.
Żelazowa Wola – 1.6 km:
A village that was the birthplace of Frédéric Chopin. A museum devoted to the composer is housed in the former manor of the Chopin family. The park sees summer concerts of Chopin's music performed by pianists from across the globe.
Palace of Culture and Science – 2 km:
The tallest building in Poland contains cinemas, theatres, museums, offices, bookshops and a large conference hall for 3000 people. The urban panoramic view from the terrace on the 30th floor, at 114 metres, is a popular tourist attraction.

By Bus:
From Warsaw Airport:
When you leave the arrival hall in front of the entrance there is a bus stop. Take bus number 175 towards Dworzec Gdański.
The journey through the city centre takes 30 to 40 minutes, around 23 bus stops.
Now see the directions below.
From the central train station.
On one side of the train station you will find the Marriott Hotel, you cannot miss it.
Using an underground passage go to the bus stop next to the Marriot: 01.Al.Jerozolimskie.
There you have to catch bus number 175 towards Dworzec Gdański.
Now see the directions below.
Get off at bus stop 02, Krakowskie Przedmieście, in front of a church.
Turn left and walk straight ahead.
On your right-hand side you will see the Royal Castle. Walk about 300 metres as far as you can and turn left at the end.
You will soon reach a small square with a bell in the middle. You will clearly see Hostel Kanonia in front of you.
If you come by car a secured parking place is located 5 minutes walking distance from our hostel.
