Area information

Leba is a small fishing town by the Leba River estuary. The town is situated east of the Slowinzi National Park, which is famous for its mighty sand dunes and beautiful lakes. During the Second World War these vast dunes were used to practice desert warfare, and the area was also a testing range for the German V-1 flying bombs.

Leba has become a popular summer resort and offers a wide variety of pubs, restaurants and entertainment options. There are also excellent conditions for windsurfing and fishing.
