Area information
Karpacz is a typical mountainous resort in Karkonosze, located at the foot of Śnieżka Mountain by the River Łomnica. Because of its location and geographical environment, it is a sports and recreational resort both in winter and in summer. Karpacz is a starting point for many tourist trails. It is an ideal place for those who like active leisure alongside relaxation. Here you can find ski slopes, Orlinek ski jump and a network of bicycle routes. There are over a dozen ski slopes in the area of the city, equipped with ski lifts and ski rentals. Most of these slopes feature artificial snow, and thanks to the lightening they are open until late in the evening.
