Area information

A visit to Zakapone is an experience you don't want to miss. This is the winter sports capital and the highest city of Poland, 700 metres above sea level. The mountains are beautiful all year round, and ideal for hiking and skiing. There are also several museums and art galleries.

Visits to Auschwitz, Krakow and Wadowice, the birthplace of Pope John Paul II, are highly recommended.
