Hotel Mitland

Hotel Mitland is situated on the outskirts of Utrecht, a 5-minute drive from the city centre, in a splendid park with a wonderful view of the old De Bilt fortress.

Hotel Mitland has luxuriously furnished rooms and is the only hotel in Utrecht that offers a swimming pool. Entry is free for hotel guests, who can also enjoy complimentary use of the extended sauna facilities.

The hotel has several restaurants for a simple meal or celebration dinner. Additionally, Mitland Bowling is now open: a brand new centre offering 9 lanes with the Music Thrill Vision System to give bowling a whole new dimension.

As a guest of Hotel Mitland Utrecht, you have free access to the swimming pool, the sauna and the Turkish baths. The swimming pool is equipped with an optimal climate control system. Swimming pool and sauna have many facilities such as foot baths, showers and a (cold water) immersion bath. For a small fee, you may also make use of the bubble baths and the two separate sunbeds. The very best feature, however, is the marvellous view over the waters of Utrecht Fort De Bilt.

All rooms have private bathrooms with shower and bath separately.

We can especially recommend rooms with a wonderful view of the old "De Bilt" fortress and the surrounding water.

The standard rooms are comfortably furnished and offer basic equipped.
Most rooms have a balcony.
The luxurious rooms are more spacious and offer a trouser press and a bigger LCD screen.

In our characteristic restaurant on the waterfront of Fort de Bilt, you can enjoy a rich (à la carte) dinner and in the Waterleliezaal (Water Lily Room), you can enjoy stone grilling.

If you would like to just have a bite to eat or eat in a more informal atmosphere, you can go to the trendy brasserie which, thanks to its wireless internet connection, is ideal for business meetings.

How to get to Hotel Mitland Utrecht by car from Breda -

Take the A27 in the direction of "Ring Utrecht (Oost)/Hilversum/Almere". Follow the "Veemarkt" signs at Utrecht. Take the "Veemarkt" turning (exit 30). At the traffic lights at the T-junction, turn left and go under the viaduct. You will pass a "Pico Bello" petrol station on your right. Drive all the way round the first roundabout that you come to, so that you are driving back in the same direction as you came. Immediately after the roundabout (after about 70 metres), take the first right turn. Turn right again at the T-junction. This is the Ariënslaan. After about 300 metres, you will see Hotel Mitland to your left.

From 'S Hertogenbosch -

At the 'Everdingen' crossroads (where the A27 and the A2 split up) 10 kilometres before Utrecht, follow the Utrecht/Almere (A27) signs. Stay on the A27 until you see the "Veemarkt" signs when level with Utrecht. For further directions, see 'From Breda'.

From Amsterdam -

Follow the A2 to the "Oudenrijn" intersection, then follow the "Ring Utrecht" signs, which will bring you on to the A12. Follow the "Ring Utrecht" signs here too. At the "Lunetten" intersection, follow the "Ring Utrecht/Amersfoort/Hilversum (A27) signs. For further directions, see 'From Breda'.

From The Hague -

Follow the A12 as far as the "Lunetten" intersection. Take the "Ring Utrecht/Amersfoort/Hilversum (A27) turning. Once on the A27, follow the "Veemarkt" signs. For further directions, see 'From Breda'.

From Hilversum -

Take the A27 in the direction of Utrecht. Follow the "Veemarkt, Centrum, de Bilt" signs at exit 30 when level with Utrecht. You will pass a "Texaco" petrol station on your right. Drive all the way round the first roundabout so that you are driving back in the same direction as you came. Take the first right turn immediately after the roundabout (after 70 metres). Turn right again at the T-junction. This is the Ariënslaan. After approximately 300 metres, you will see Hotel Mitland to your left.

From Amersfoort -

Take the A28 in the direction of Utrecht. At Utrecht, follow the "Ring Utrecht (Noord)/Veemarkt/Hilversum (A27)". Take the "Veemarkt" turning (exit 30). For further directions, see 'From Breda'.

From Arnhem -

Take the A12 in the direction of "Ring Utrecht (Oost)/Hilversum (A27)". On the A27, follow the "Veemarkt" signs. For further directions, see 'From Breda'.

From Amsterdam, Schiphol Airport -

There is a train leaving for Utrecht Central Station every half hour.
Departure times: 23 and 53 minutes past every hour.
Travel time including change (in Duivendrecht): 35 minutes.

From Utrecht Central Station (1) -

Due to the road works in Utrecht City Centre, we advise you to take a train taxi (treintaxi).

From Utrecht Central Station (2) -

Bus number 57 direction: Bilthoven Station.
Departure time: Every 15 minutes between 06:39 and 00:10.
Bus stop "De Veemarkthallen" is roughly a 5 minute walk to Hotel Mitland. Turn left into the park (Manegelaan). Follow the signs for Hotel Mitland.
