In Groningen, in the middle of Westerwolde, in the small town of Sellingen, a farmhouse built in 1898 is situated at the Dorpsstraat. This farmhouse was extensively rebuilt in 2006 and transformed into a hospitable Inn. At the front of the farmhouse is a cosy terrace with a view of the lively Dorpsstraat. At the back of the farmhouse is a huge garden with leafy trees and a view of the river valley. When the weather is good you can have a nice breakfast there, or you can just go to relax.

5 beautifully decorated rooms, a lovely restaurant, a large reading table, a bar and a billiard table, a lounge corner with a wonderful fire place, and of course a delicious menu, make this place a pleasure to stay.

All rooms are equipped with en suite bathroom and all common facilities.
The bathrooms have a bath and a separate shower and toilet (except ‘Sleeping in heaven’). All bathrooms have heated floors, so you won’t get cold feet. In the bathroom you are pampered with products from Duke & Lyle, for people that want to enjoy the small things in life. All beds are 2.20 long, so taller people can have a good night’s rest too.

Food & beverage

The restaurant with 40 seats is situated where the stables used to be. Every day a 3-course menu is served, simply called ‘the day’s special’. Besides there is a luncheon menu with simple or creatively prepared rolls and a small menu with salads and delicious snacks.

Of course you are welcome throughout the day for a cup of coffee, a soda, a glass of wine or a beer at the bar or on the terrace.
