The Hotel Mimosa is situated on the Renbaanstraat in Scheveningen where once you would have found a race course ('renbaan' means 'race course'). The Edwardian terrace, which now graces this street, was built in the days when Scheveningen became a popular spa. Hotel Mimosa was build 35 years ago, behind the classical facade of two terraced houses. Here history and modern comfort go hand in hand.

Scheveningen offers something for everybody. Are you a true sun, sea and sand enthusiast? At a two-minute walk from Hotel Mimosa you will find everything you want.

Do you enjoy walking and biking through beautiful scenery? The dunes and woodlands along the coast - a large part of which has been declared a protected nature reserve - are home to numerous birds and wonderful wildlife.

Those who are interested in cultural pursuits will certainly enjoy Scheveningen and The Hague. The royal seat has dozens of museums, palaces and monuments and at night you can choose from an array of films, plays and musicals - at the Circus Theatre, for instance, which is literally around the corner!


Hotel Mimosa also serves as an excellent base in case it is work that brings you to The Hague. All embassies, international organisations such as OPCW and Europol, the headquarters of multinationals and of course the Netherlands Congress Centre are all to be found at a mere 10 minute drive from Hotel Mimosa.

Scheveningen is an International renowned seaside resort where a pleasant stay is guaranteed whatever the season. The beach front, the ocean, the woods and dunes - best for pleasant rambles and relaxation.

Scheveningenan also offers an exciting nightlife: The casino, the Palace Promenade, the Kurhaus Hotel, clubs, boutiques, the famous Scheveningen Pier, the Circus theatre and numerous street cafes are all to be found within a few minutes walk from our hotel.

If you prefer sightseeing you cannot do better than going to The Hague (known as 'Den Haag' or, more formally, as its historical name 's-Gravenhage') with its international congress buildings and the 'Vredespaleis'.

There is a direct train connection between the airports Schiphol and The Hague (approx. 30 minutes). From the 'Centraal Station' or the 'Hollands Spoor Station' the tram (1 or 9) or the bus (22) will take you to the Hotel Mimosa in approx. 15 minutes.
The drive from the airport Zestienhoven in Rotterdam will take you approx. 30 minutes.

If you travel by car, follow 'The Hague' (A4 from Amsterdam, A 13 from Rotterdam, A12 from Utrecht).
