Esquire Hotel

The Esquire Hotel is a comfortable and friendly three star family run hotel located within walking distance from the Scheveningen beach and (yaught)harbour, many fine restaurants, the Congrescentre, ICTY, OPCW and the museum area. The rest of The Hague and Scheveningen are easy to reach by public transportation. The hotel is located in a quiet street with free parking in front of the hotel and tram and bus stops within short distance.

The hotel is located in a quiet street. Free (unreserved) parking is available in front of the hotel.

Our standard rooms are small but fully equipped and the executive rooms are more spacious. Please note that all rooms are non-smoking.

Guests are invited each morning to an elaborate breakfast buffet with a variety of breads, meats, fruit, coffee, tea and eggs. In the summer you can enjoy your breakfast in our garden, whenever it is not raining.

We serve drinks and snacks in our lounge, garden and restaurant from the afternoon until the evening. For dining and wining we suggest the many various restaurants in all price ranges.

The hotel is ideally situated. Close by, you will find the Netherlands Congress Centre (NCC), OPCW, Yugoslavia Tribunal (ICTY) and Frederik Hendriklaan, one of the most charming shopping streets in Holland. We are also within walking distance of the beach at Scheveningen, Museon, Municipal Museum, GeM/Museum of Photography, Omniversum and the Scheveningen harbor, with plenty of first-class restaurants and sport fishing and diving facilities.

The centre of Scheveningen is 10 minutes by bus, the centre of The Hague and Central Station are within 15 minutes by tram. Amsterdam airport, Rotterdam, Utrecht are all easy to reach from our hotel.

Coming from Amsterdam, Rotterdam or Utrecht:

follow direction DEN HAAG.

Next direction: SCHEVENINGEN HAVEN / CONGRES CENTRUM

The names of the roads you follow are:
- BOSLAAN (end of highway, turn left at the end)
- ZUID-HOLLANDLAAN (turn right at the end)
- KONINGSKADE (after a few minutes driving the name changes into RAAMWEG)
- Keep right to enter the fly-over. This is a sharp turn !!
- HUBERTUS VIADUCT, JOHAN DE WITTLAAN.

After you have passed a big pond you take a right at the third traffic lights into the EISENHOUWERLAAN.

When you see the tramstop at your left, you take a right into the PRINS MAURITSLAAN.

The fourth street at your left is the VAN AERSSENSTRAAT.

At number 65 you will find the reception of the Esquire Hotel.
