The hotel is situated in a recently restored historic landmark building, designed by the well known Dutch architect, A.J. Kropholler, and is just 100 m distance from the beach and directly on tram line 9, next to the Circus Theater and across from the Kurhaus & the Holland Casino. The Hague city center and two train stations can be easily reached in less than 15 minutes by tram or bus.

We offer seven spacious studio and junior suites with self-catering fully equipped kitchenettes, for both business guests and tourists seeking the privacy and independence of "home." All units have been decorated to retain the turn of the century character of the building and are ideally suited for extended stays. All of our seven cozy individually decorated and tastefully furnished “three star” rated non smoking rooms, studios and business apartments in Ambassade Arena Aparthotel and our three large apartments (80m2) in the “Oude Pastorie” building are “four star” spacious--offering you complete comfort. Our smallest studio is 24m and our largest apartment (rented by the month only) is 80m2.

Rooms have been decorated in keeping with the period character of the building and the common areas retain the character of a turn of the century Dutch home.

A minibar (filled on request), direct dial telephone, internet connection, electronic room safe, TV w/VCR (30 channels) and iron w ironing board are features in all rooms.

The entire historic monument building was completely renovated in 2002 and all sunny rooms have been sound insulated and feature hardwood flooring and double glazed windows. A laundry area is located on the premises and laundry service is available.

Ambassade Arena Aparthotel is located in an A1 location just 100m walking distance from the beach. We’re approximately thirty minutes from Amsterdam’s Schiphol Airport and ten minutes from The Hague’s city center (central station).

We are close to numerous direct public transport connections to the central station, congress (convention) center, international court of justice, embassies and numerous international institutions and organizations. Leiden, Delft and Rotterdam are all less than 15 km distance from the hotel and are also easily accessible via public transportation. Even Holland’s world famous Keukenhof in Lisse can be easily reached via a short (less than 30 minutes) train and bus ride from the Central Station

The Vitalizee health and beauty centre, a kuurbad and spa located on the beach; the Circus Theater (Lion King); Madurodam , Holland in miniature; the Carnegie Peace Palace; the Palace Promenade shopping center; Pathé Scheveningen, a large eight screen cinema and an extensive choice of seaside restaurants, bistros, nightclubs and pubs are all within five minutes walking distance from the hotel.

HOW TO REACH AMBASSADE ARENA APARTHOTEL
BY PUBLIC TRANSPORT

Den Haag Centraal Station / Hollands Spoor:

Tram number 9 – direction Scheveningen (tram stop: Circus Theater). The tram stops stops nearly in front of the door.

Tram number 1- direction Scheveningen (tram stop: Scheveningeseslag) – cross the street in front of the Ibis hotel and walk to the left between the Holland Casino and the Noord ZeeGebouw towards the Circus Theater (look for the large open-air sculpture garden and the church clock tower). The hotel is just 2 minutes walking distance from the tram stop.

Bus 14 – direction Scheveningen. Step out at Kurhaus and walk towards the Holland Casino and the Police Station (Nieuwe Parklaan). Hotel is less than three minutes walking distance from corner of Nieuwe Parklaan and Badhuisweg.

Bus 22 – direction Scheveningen. Step out at Kurhaus.

Bus 23 – direction Scheveningen. Step out at Schveningseslag or Kurhausweg.


BY CAR

From Amsterdam, Rotterdam or Utrecht, follow signs to "Den Haag."

At the end of the A12 Utrechtsebaan (T-junction) turn to the left, then turn right at the first traffic light (direction Scheveningen Bad). After approximately 15 minutes (past Madurodam) you will find our hotel under the clock tower on the left side next to the Circus theater (Lion King).
