The hub of the bustling market square in Deurne is Hotel Brasserie Plein Vijf. The building has a rich history. Cigar makers were followed by bakers, car mechanics and waiters. This location has been filled with hustle and bustle since 1800. The five dimensions of Plein Vijf are the luxury 4-star Hotel, the Conservatory and Sun Terrace, the Lounge, the Repository and the Brasserie – a regular hot spot for live music.

The Hotel has 21 luxury rooms and 4 very luxury thematic suites. One of these is the exclusive bridal suite: the perfect setting for a memorable romantic stay. Each air-conditioned room has a modern bathroom with shower and/or bath and an array of modern facilities. Extra long beds and free wireless internet are just a few examples of how your comfort and convenience have been taken into consideration.

Food & beverage

In the Brasserie – comprising a bar, a private dining room, and a restaurant – you will be able to enjoy breakfast, lunch and dinner, or drinks and snacks, in a pleasant and comfortable environment. The Conservatory and Sun Terrace offers the wonderful view of the ever-changing market scene while having a cup of coffee or tea, a glass of fine wine, a snack or meal with family and friends.
On the first floor, above the Brasserie, is the Repository – formerly a warehouse of the cigar factory. This room is highly suitable for organising informal or private parties, receptions and dinners.

Breakfast:
Served on week days from 07:00 - 10.00.
On Sundays, a super-de-luxe breakfast with a bubbly welcome aperitif is served from 08:00 - 11.00.

Area information

Deurne, a small town in the Province of Noord-Brabant, is nestled on the edge of the nature reserve De Groote Peel - an ideal location for invigorating trips in the vicinity. Golfing is possible in nearby Asten, Horst or Geijsteren. A visit to the nationally and internationally renowned Nederlands Hippisch Centrum (Netherlands Equestrian Centre) is also highly recommended.

Deurne itself also offers many interesting activities. There are numerous shops, outdoor cafés, museums, castle ruins in the park, a beautifully domed church, sports, the lovely scenery and more - all in the direct vicinity of Plein Vijf. Typical of the municipality of Deurne are the many tiny villages, or hamlets. One hamlet that is particular, Veldheuvel, is worth a visit.

Plein Vijf is easily accessible and is conveniently located near main highways and the train station.
