Residentie Californië is an apartment complex in a tranquil location only 750 metres away from the beach. It offers accommodation with free Wi-Fi and is situated next to Duinen van Texel National Park.

The luxurious apartments include an open kitchen and either a patio or balcony. The 2 bedrooms have Auping beds. Furthermore there is a spa bath, a TV with a video channel and free cable internet connection.

Guests can use the sauna and steam bath to relax or get a massage in the beauty centre.

Californië is 13 km from golf course De Texelse. The village centre of De Koog is a 5-minute drive from the complex. Ecomare and the Texel Museum Trust are a 10-minute walk away. There is free parking.

The high-quality four-star Residentie Californië apartments are equipped for four people and have an open kitchen, bathroom with bath and separate shower, television, radio, CD player and video and two bedrooms, one of which has a television. The apartments also have a patio or balcony, and there is a lift in the complex.

Only 2 lines of dunes separate the seaside resort of De Koog from the North Sea, and this makes it ideal for many holidaymakers. You can go shopping and then rest on one of the many terraces or go for a swim in the subtropical pool. The woodland area and the centre for the Dutch Wadden and the North Sea, EcoMare, are situated immediately south of De Koog.

With a sandy beach that stretches for around 30 km, Texel has lots of space. There are different beach entrances, where you will find beach pavilions, among other things. At post 9 (near Den Hoorn) and post 28 (near De Cocksdorp) the beach pavilions are open all year round.

There are lifeguards at most locations in Summer. Swimming is permitted along the entire North Sea beach, except for a stretch between posts 31 and 33.
