The hotel offers a number of facilities centred around relaxation, including a beauty salon. The salon provides a high level of service for all your beauty and relaxation needs, including a wide variety of skin treatments for young and mature skin types and for gentlemen as well as ladies. All treatments are completely aimed at your particular skin type. The salon also offers a variety of massages.

Hotel Texel is close to Texel's airfield, with its internationally famed Paracentre. But, there are no jets screaming down the runway, just a grassy field with small private aeroplanes, gliders and colourful parachutes.
From here you can take air tours or learn to fly or parachute. (Special packages by arrangement.)

Texel Wings, by arrangement with Hotel Texel, offers flights to Texel from a variety of places at prices which will tempt you to leave the car behind. There is a total length of over 135 km (85 miles) of bicycle road on Texel. You can bring your own bike or rent one at the hotel. It is also possible to rent tandems , mountain bikes, electrical bikes or mopeds (reservation required). You can go out and explore our beautiful island on your own, but there are also numerous bicycle routes that will let you get acquainted with a special area that you wish to explore.

On a sheltered beach at the foot of the lighthouse is the roomy De Eilander sailing school. Under the experienced eye of international racing yachtsman you can try the spectacular port of catamaran sailing. Guests can choose from a selection of packages. From a basic trial trip with the instructor to a week-long advanced course. All courses are given by qualified instructors and only the best equipment is used.

You can reach Texel with the Teso ferry, which departs Den Helder on every half of the hour. During the summer, there's often also a connection every hour on the hour. Once you arrive on Texel, you can use the Tele Taxi, which will take you to your destination anywhere on the island for EUR 4.00. If you come by car, follow the directions to Cocksdorp. Right past the airport on your right-hand side, you'll find Hotel Texel.
