You will find a typical village (De Cocksdorp) nearby. And of course the island has many fine nature reseves. The hotel borders the Roggesloot and the Slufter, the Eierlandse Dunes and the Schorren, which are more than worth a visit. The quiet north of the island offers every opportunity for outdoor recreation such as cycling, hiking,surfing,sailing catamarans, golf or horse-back riding through the woods and dunes.

Travel information
Texel can be reached by the Teso ferry which leaves Den Helder every half hour. In summer often there is a ferry at every hour as well. Arriving on Texel you can take a bus direct to de Cocksdorp (29), with a bus stop in front of the hotel. Coming with your own car, follow the signs to de Cocksdorp. Every side road is marked with a number, the hotel is situated by number 34.
Important information
The two rooms with wheelchair access, are very complete. There is also the possibility to place a "High-Low bed" in the room. Apart of that you can rent a booster in the hotel, to make a trip along the marvelous bike-roads on Texel.
