Travel information
By car:
Coming from the West of the Netherlands:
- You take the A6 to Emmeloord and take exit number 15, then drive towards Blokzijl (N331) and take the N333 to Steenwijk
- After Blokzijl you will find Muggenbeet after ca. 3 km (exit Geertien restaurant) on your right hand side
Coming from the South via the A28 to Zwolle:
- After Staphorst, take the exit to Meppel (A32)
- Via Steenwijk, drive towards Emmeloord (N333) and after ca. 9 km and two bridges you will find Muggenbeet on your left hand side
Coming from the South via the A50 to Zwolle:
- Take the N50 to Emmeloord
- Take the exit to Ens and via Vollenhove and Blokzijl (N333) you will find Muggenbeet after ca. 3 km (exit Geertien restaurant) on your right hand side
Coming from the North via the A7 Leeuwarden, Groningen or Heerenveen and then via the A32 to Steenwijk or via the A28 to Assen, Meppel and Steenwijk:
- Drive towards Emmeloord (N333) and find Muggenbeet after ca. 9 km and two bridges on your left hand side (exit Geertien restaurant)

Guests who intend to arrive on a Wednesday from September until June are kindly requested to indicate their time of arrival in the comments box during the booking process. This is because the restaurant is closed on this day and special arrangements need to be made to ensure it is possible to check in.
