Travel information
By car from Groningen (A28): Take exit 33 (Assen/Smilde). At the roundabout at the end of the exit, go left (take the roundabout for 3/4). Go straight ahead at the traffic lights. You will enter the parking of Van der Valk Assen.
From Hoogeveen (A28): Take exit 33 (Assen/Smilde). At the end of the exit, go left. You continue the road under the viaduct. At the traffic lights, head to the left. You will enter the parking of Van der Valk Assen.
By train: From the station in Assen, the best option is to take a train taxi or take the bus (see below).
By bus: Take bus 16 from Assen train station. The bus will stop a 5 minute walk from the hotel.

Guests are kindly requested to note that when booking an extra bed for a room that the cost does not include breakfast. When an extra bed is booked for a room where breakfast is included the cost of an extra breakfast will be charged.
