Surrounded by the forests of the Kemeri National Park and 63 km away from Riga, Valguma pasaule is located near Valgums Lake.

The 14-hectare property provides a wide range of opportunities for activities in the scenic Latvian countryside, including fishing and boating in the lake, cycling (rental bikes available), barbecue, and much more.

The restaurant offers a wide choice of delicious Latvian and international cuisine, specialising in fish dishes and traditional Latvian desserts.

All suites of the Valguma pasaule have a bedroom, a living room with a sofa bed, and a balcony with superb views towards Valgums Lake.

The territory of Valgums once belonged to a German family, who set up a boarding house there. The famous German comedian Heinz Erhardt, a son of the family, spent part of his youth there in the 1930s.

Later it became the residence of Aleksei Kosygin, the Prime Minister of the Soviet Union. The territory was closed to the public during Soviet times.
