Central Hostel

Situé dans une rue calme du centre de Riga, le Central Hostel se trouve à seulement 10 minutes de marche de la vieille ville. Il propose des chambres chauffées. Une connexion Wi-Fi est disponible gratuitement dans tout le bâtiment.

Du thé et du café vous sont proposés gratuitement 24h/24. Vous bénéficiez d'un accès à une cuisine, où vous pourrez préparer vos repas. Un grand réfrigérateur est également présent. Le petit-déjeuner est servi depuis tôt le matin jusqu'à midi.

Une salle commune dotée d'une télévision, d'un lecteur DVD et d'un narguilé est à votre disposition. Il est permis de fumer à l'auberge de jeunesse dans un espace séparé. Vous pourrez vous garer gratuitement dans l'arrière-cour et une petite épicerie se trouve sur place.

Le Central Hostel est situé à 1 km de la gare centrale et de la gare routière. Le jardin Vērmanes se trouve à moins de 650 mètres. Plusieurs restaurants économiques sont juste à côté du Central Hostel.

Central Hostel is aimed towards couples and families, as well as single travellers, who prefer privacy and a quiet stay in the centre of Riga.

The hostel has 2 common rooms. In one of them, which is isolated from the rest of the hostel, you can watch some DVDs, smoke shisha, enjoy the true Latvian spirit in the sauna and light up the fireplace for a relaxing evening. If you feel like partying, you are more than welcome to turn the music up and party until the morning. The other common room is located right next to the reception. There you can read some books or magazines, surf the internet, watch TV and relax after exploring the city.

Central Hostel provides free maps on arrival and a nice selection of tourism information.

For the smallest guests, baby cots and baby chairs are available.

The hostel staff will be happy to share local knowledge and recommend the best restaurants, galleries, museums, night clubs and sights for you to enjoy Riga.

Central Hostel offers both private and dormitory rooms. Lockers are available on the reception floor. All bathrooms are located right next to the room and there is at least 1 bathroom for every 6 people.

Central Hostel offers free breakfast from 08:00 to 12:00. Free tea and coffee are available 24 hours. You are welcome to cook in the kitchen, where there is a huge refrigerator to store your food. Spices and oil are provided.

Central Hostel is located in a quiet area in the centre of Riga, only a few minutes' walk from the train station, the bus station, the airport bus stop and the old town. This is the best location if you prefer to stay away from the tourist crowd and still be only steps away from the most important sights of Riga.

A shopping centre is a 4-minute walk away. A grocery store is in the same building, and several low-priced restaurants and fast food restaurants are located right next to the hostel.

From the airport:
-Take the bus no. 22 and get off at the Stockmann shopping centre (2nd stop after the bridge). Walk straight (with the cinemas and shopping centre on your right.)
- After that you will see the train station clock tower and a big shopping centre called Origo. Walk to the other side of the square in front of the train station (main entrance on your right) and cross to the street on your left.
- Continue walking to the right (now on the other side) with yellow minibuses on your left and with Origo shopping centre behind you on your right.
- Then, take the first street to the left, and after some metres turn again to the right, into E. Biznieka-Upisa street. Walk until number 20 (orange wooden building on corner with Visvalza street).

From the train station:
- Leave the main building and walk to the right side of the square in front of the train station; there cross the street and turn right.
- Continue walking to the right, now on the other side with yellow minibuses on your left and with Origo shopping centre behind you on your right.
- Then, take the first street to the left, and after some metres turn again to the right, into E. Biznieka-Upisa street. Walk until number 20 (orange wooden building on corner with Visvalza street).

From the bus station:
- Leave the bus station main building and walk to the left, under the railway bridge and continue to the right. You will find yourself at the Stockman shopping centre and Forum Cinemas.
- Then walk straight ahead, with the cinemas and shopping centre on your right.
- After that you will see the train station clock tower and a big shopping centre, Origo. Walk to the other side of the square in front of train station (main entrance on your right) and cross to the street on your left.
- Continue walking to the right, now on the other side with yellow minibuses on your left and with Origo shopping center behind you on your right.
