Parco dei Principi Wellness Hotel

Parco dei Principi is surrounded by a 27.000 m² park. Set on a cliff at 1 km from Sorrento city centre, it offers panoramic views across the Gulf of Naples.

Rooms still preserve the original design and contemporary-style decor by Italian architect Gio Ponti. They all have sliding windows that open onto a balcony with sea or garden views.

The design hotel features a salt-water swimming pool and a lift to the private beach with free sun loungers and parasols. The wellness centre boasts a fireplace and Baroque mirrors.

The Parco dei Principi Wellness Hotel offers 2 on-site restaurants serving Mediterranean and international cuisine. Here, guests enjoy lovely views of the Tyrrhenian Sea.

Sorrento city centre can be reached with a 20-minute walk or with a free shuttle bus, available upon request on a fixed schedule.

THE GARDEN:
The majestic gardens are a superb example of how botanical gardens were laid out under the reign of the Bourbon royal family, with evocative scenes of classical architecture amid the rare specimens of beautiful trees.

The Temple of Venus or indeed the remains of the castle bear witness to the desire first of the Bourbons and later of the Cortchacovs to keep the memories of this delightful place alive.

Enjoy a relaxing drink as you take in the changing hues of the gardens: the long, uninterrupted glazing seems to provide exactly the right filter for blending the evocative emotion of the natural world with the pleasing notes from the piano bar.

THE SWIMMING POOL:
The large swimming pool is filled with sea water and was envisaged by Ponti more as a "pond for wood nymphs" than as a mere attraction for swimmers. He described it as a pool "... out of which rise islands for the classical attitudes of Récamier or Paolina, of female beauty; and from the water emerges a masonry ladder to climb and then dive into the depths..."

The rooms still preserve their original Gio Ponti design and layout and are located on either side of the hotel to overlook the sea or the gardens from their terrace or balcony.

To get out most of the amazing position, guests can be delighted tasting local and international cuisine at the restaurant “La Spiaggia” opened at lunch and dinner time.

- Itinerary "Capodichino-Sorrento": follow the road Viale Fulco Ruffo di Calabria ( 670 mts ) and then take Via Oreste Salomone (Highway A1 ) following Bari-R.Calabria -Roma-Salerno direction. Keep driving on A1/E45 ( 6,1 Kms ) following Reggio Calabria- Salerno direction: A1 - E45; Napoli; Reggio-Calabria; Salerno; Penisola Sorrentina.

- Reach the A3/E45 following the board: A3E45; A3E45. After Torre del Greco, and Pompei, exit the Highway and take the SS145 following the board:SS145; Castellammare; SS145. Keep driving on the SS145 via Castellammare di Stabia and then:
- Via Vico Equense
- Via Meta
- Via Piano di Sorrento ( follow on Corso Italia )
- Get in Sant' Agnello

Once you have reached Sant' Agnello's square "SS. Prisco & Agnello", turn
on the right and keep driving along Viale Marion Crawford. At the crossroad, turn left and keep driving for 100 meters. You will find the Hotel Parco dei Principi on the right hand side.

The swimming pool is open from May to September. Beach service is provided from June till September.
