Travel information
If you take the highway:
Coming from Rome, it twill take 2 hours an a half to arrive in Sorrento, ( 245 km).
Take the highway direction Naples, follow the sign to Penisola Sorrentina, once in Castellammare (next exit after Pompei) follow the sign to Sorrento.
With the train:
from Rome take the train to Naples. From Naples central station follow the sign who will bring you to the train called Circumvesuviana, direction Sorrento. The train pass every half an hour, from 5 a.m. till 10:30 p.m. It will take approximately 1 hour. The ticket price is around 3.50 EUR per person.
With the bus:
From Rome there is a bus leaving from Tiburtina station, at 3 p.m. (only during the working days) and arrive to Sorrento at 6.45 p.m., the ticket price is 15.50 EUR per person. In the same station is available also another bus leaving at 7 a.m. from Friday till Sunday.
From the airport Napoli Capodichino, there is a bus to Sorrento, it twill take approximately 1 hour, ticket price is 5 EUR per person.
