- exit towards Firenze Certosa
- take the Superstrada Firenze-Siena
- exit at Poggibonsi
- follow the signs for San Gimignano
- go past the town on the road that passes around the old medieval walls, the Relais La Cappuccina is approximately one kilometre after San Gimignano, on the left.

From Rome:
- take the A1 north
- exit at Valdichiana
- follow the signs for Siena
- in Siena, take the tangenziale Ovest to join the Superstrada Siena-Firenze
- exit at Poggibonsi Centro
- follow the signs for San Gimignano
- go past the town on the road that passes around the old medieval walls, the Relais La Cappuccina is approximately one kilometre after San Gimignano, on the left.

From Pisa:
- get on the Superstrada Pisa-Firenze
- exit at Empoli
- follow signs for Castelfiorentino–Poggibonsi
- once you reach Certaldo, turn right
- follow the signs for San Gimignano
- the Relais La Cappuccina is approximately on kilometre after San Gimignano on the left.
