El Rustego

Nestled in the countryside, El Rustego is a converted villa of the 19th century, situated in Rubano, on the main road between Padua and Vicenza.

This refined and excellently run hotel offers rustic architecture and furnishings, which blend perfectly with the green countryside that surround it.

At El Rustego, each of the rooms has a balcony and free Wi-Fi. Rooms with bath tub are available on request.

The restaurant serves lunch from 12:30 - 14:30 and dinner from 19:30 - 22:30.

Meals can be consumed from 12:30 - 16:00 for lunch and from 19:30 - 24:00 for dinner.

The bar is open from 07:00 - 23:00.

The restaurant serves typical Veneto dishes and seafood specialties.

Rubano is a small city near Padova where that Sant'Antony died, it also houses the famous Capella degli Scrovegni, with Giotto's painting.

Located near the Euganean Hills, you can trek or bike through the magnificent countryside.

Popular tourist sites include Arquà Petrarca (15 km) and Cittadella (25 km).

By train:
From Padova station, take a taxi or the Sita bus, which departs every half hour to Vicenza.

By plane:
From Venice Tessera airport, it is advised that you take a taxi.

By car:
- Take the A4 motorway.
- Exit at Padova Ovest.
- Head in the direction of Vincenza.
- Join the Corso Australia ring-road.
- This will take you to the 11 Padova-Vincenza road to Rubano, where you will find the hotel.

Please note that the restaurant is closed from 1 August until 31 August 2011.
