Maccheroncini with fresh mushrooms are served with cavati and artichokes; or you can enjoy tagliatelle with walnuts; pasta with sardines and Tortiglioni alla Siciliana.

Main courses are equally impressive. There is succulent braised pork, stuffed chops, Sicilian beefsteak and traditional local Ragusan sausage. All of these consort with the magnificent Baroque speciality of a generous helping of mixed roast meats accompanied by herbs and grilled local vegetables.

To complete the meal, the delicious desserts on offer include Cannoli di Ricotta flavoured with Marsala wine, mousses, Cassata Siciliana, lemon sorbet and Crema di Ricotta, the latter made with fresh milk from Sicily’s flourishing dairy industry.

- Take the SS194 Catania – Ragusa motorway.
- Once you enter the city of Ragusa, follow the signs towards the historic city centre (Ibla).
- Head towards Piazza Pola, turn right and 50 meters further on you will see the hotel.
