Area information
The Brenta Riviera is constituted in a group of villages and green areas lying along the ancient bed of the river that joins Padua and Venice. Rich in the events of this area and its people, the Brenta Riviera is still marked today by the flowering gardens of noble residences from the 16th-18th century, with villas open to the public, statue-decorated water features, and weeping willows lapping in the currents of the river.
Travel information
By Train:
From Santa Lucia Station:
- Cross the Degli Scalzi bridge (directly in front of the station) and continue walking straight for 2 minutes to Piazzale Roma.
- Buy a bus ticket to Mira and catch the bus marked Dolo or Padova from Corsia C4.
- Ask the driver to stop at Dolo "Bus Deposito" (the bus stop before Dolo centre).
- When you get off, walk back for 300 metres and you will find the hotel on your left.
From Venice-Mestre Station:
- Take the subway under the train station in the direction of Marghera.
- Cross the road and walk for 50 yards.
- You will find the bus stop on your right.
- Ask the driver to stop at Dolo "Bus Deposito" (the bus stop before Dolo centre).
- When you get off, walk back for 300 metres and you will find the hotel on your left.
By Air:
From Marco Polo Airport:
- Take the bus to Piazzale Roma.
- Buy a bus ticket to Mira and catch the bus marked Dolo or Padova from Corsia C4.
- Then, follow the above directiosnfrom Santa Lucia Station.
The hotel is 20 km from Marco Polo Airport in Tessera (Venice) and 40 km from Treviso Airport.
By Car:
From Milano-Bologna:
- Take the A4 Autostrada.
- Exit at Dolo-Mirano.
- Follow signs to Dolo.
I- n Dolo centre, turn left to Venice.
- Continue straight along the canal.
- After about 1.5 km you will see the hotel on your left.
From Venice:
- Cross the causeway blue signs for Ravenna and then Padova/Riviera del Brenta.
- If you come to any forks in the road with no Padova signs, follow indications for A4 Autostrada.
- Once you spot the Brenta Canal, after about 20 minutes look for a sign for the hotel that is on your left.
By Bus:
250 metres from the Cà Tron Hotel, near the bus deposit, it is possible to get (every half hour) the bus to Venice - Piazzale Roma Square.
