Borgo Il Melone is a grand 19th-century manor house, a 5-minute drive from Cortona. Set in the Tuscan countryside, its grounds include a swimming pool with hot tub and poolside bar.

All accommodation includes satellite TV and Wi-Fi access. Some have a fully equipped kitchen with tea and coffee-making facilities.

Staff at the Melone organise cookery and pottery classes, as well as rafting, horse riding and boat trips on Lake Trasimeno.

Breakfast is served outside in summer and in the tavern from April to September.

Borgo Il Melone's restaurant is open from 12:30 to 14:30 and 19:30 to 21:30, every day except Tuesday.

If you intend to arrive at Borgo Il Melone after 18:00, please phone the hotel in advance to arrange check-in.

Please note that the restaurant will be closed from Christmas until New Year Day.

Final cleaning is compulsory for weekly apartment stays and costs EUR 80. Daily cleaning is available at an additional cost.

The restaurant is closed on Tuesdays. The swimming pool is open from mid May until the end of September.
