Dating back to medieval times, Tenuta di Capocontro is still home to a manor house, an old chapel, a mill and stables where competition horses are trained. Now a lovely outdoor pool has been added, as well as a boules court and table tennis.

Giving you a real taste of Tuscany, Tenuta di Capocontro still produces its own top-quality olive oil and wine. Typical dinners with regional specialities can be arranged, as can cooking courses.

Within an hour’s drive of Tenuta di Capocontro, with its stunning, panoramic views across the Chiana Valley, you can reach some of Tuscany’s most important cities, including Siena and Florence.

Travel information

After the tollbooth at Arezzo turn right to Civitella Val di Chiana and for signs for 10km for Civitella. Before the town walls turn left. Proceed for about 500m until you reach a junction with a sign for Capocontro.
