Locanda Dell'Angelo

Located on the border of Tuscany and Liguria, Locanda dell’ Angelo is a stylish structure surrounded by green fields, near the ancient ruins of the Roman town of Luni. It is a 1-hour drive from Pisa and its leaning tower, the walls of Lucca and historic Florence.

Italian designer Vico Magistretti conceived the building as a mirror reflecting the white of the Apuan Alps and the blue of the Ligurian sea. In the same spirit, the interiors of Locanda dell’Angelo are decorated with works of contemporary artists. The ample garden is filled with olive trees and Mediterranean oaks. The swimming pool is in marble, equipped with a hot tub.

By Car:
- Join the Genova-Livorno motorway.
- Exit at Sarzana (if coming from Genova) and follow the signs for Carrara (turning to the right).
- Continue along Variante Aurelia driving through 4 round-abouts
- At the fifth round about turn right to Marinella.
- The Locanda dell'Angelo is 5 km away on the right-hand side along Viale XXV Aprile.

- Exit at Carrara (if coming from Florence/Livorno).
- After the exit, turn right towards the sea.
- Continue straight on, and at the 2nd traffic lights, turn right towards Sarzana.
- Continue following the signs for Sarzana; la Locanda dell' Angelo is 900 metres from the sea on your left.
