A sophisticated system carries the thermal mud directly to the department rooms at the perfect temperature, so that none of the mud's therapeutic properties are lost.

There is also the Thermal grotto, a beautiful, soothing setting, with waterfalls, steam jets and light displays. Thermal baths with ozone and thermal showers, plus chromotherapy and eucalyptus-scented nebulised-water showers are also available.

For a taste of the ancient Roman spas, visit the Tepidarium, equipped with loungers and armchairs heated to 39°C and the beautifully scented surroundings make the tepidarium the natural place to relax. Here, you can make the most of your body's reaction to the mud-therapy, or acclimatise after the grotto. The tepidarium is the ideal way to help strengthen your immune system, and acts as a general preventative measure, revitalising the body. The environment creates an artificial state of fever which increases the speed of your metabolism and helps to reduce any excess fats.
