There are 2 rooms suitable for conferences and meetings that accommodate up to 80 and 150 people respectively. The castle also provides an ideal setting for a wedding reception.

The dining room overlooks the ancient oaks of the front lawn. In the library bar there is a great carved oak chimney piece that dates from 1627. There is a splendid banqueting hall where feasts and entertainment can be enjoyed in style.

The refurbished bedrooms offer modern amenities whilst retaining the charm and elegance of yesteryear. Each is individually designed and decorated with taste and imagination. You will enjoy magnificent views of the castle grounds from your window. All bedrooms are en suite with direct dial phones and satellite TV.

Food & beverage

The restaurant has 2 RAC awards for dining and the chefs aim to cater for all tastes and fancies. Home grown, traditional Irish and continental cuisine are all served. You will find a wine from the large cellar to compliment any meal.

Breakfast is served from 08:00 till 10:00.
The restaurant is open from 19:00 till 21:00 and the bar until late.

Area information

You can tour the scenic Ring of Kerry and the Dingle Peninsula, take walks along the picturesque banks of Killarney lakes and the hike around the Macgillycuddy Reeks.

There are various golf courses in and around Tralee, including the Links Tralee Golf Club which has the first course in Europe to be designed by the legendary Arnold Palmer.
