The superb 18-hole, par-72 championship golf course was designed by Des Smyth and was opened in 1993. The course was formerly the famous Ballykisteen Stud.

The leisure centre houses an indoor swimming pool, a spa pool, a steam room and a sauna. On the first floor, there is a well-equipped gym and a weights room with a glass wall overlooking the 10th fairway. All guests are entitled to free use of the swimming pool, the sauna, the steam room and the gym.

The Serenity Day Spa offers peaceful, tranquil surroundings and relaxing and therapeutic treatments to rejuvenate mind, body and soul. The professional therapists are all highly trained in body massage; try one of the many massage treatments available in Serenity Day Spa for a relaxing or uplifting experience.

Ballyk Kidz club is available for the family break it is a fun and safe environment for children aged 3 to 11. There are 2 sessions daily during holiday time: from 10:00 to 13:0 and 17:30 to 20:00. Booking is essential for the Ballyk Kidz Club.

There is an unsupervised playroom stocked with toys and games available throughout the year for children and their parents.

By Car (from Shannon):
- From Shannon, follow the signs for Limerick (N18).
- At Limerick, follow the signs for Waterford/Tipperary (N24).
- Pass the villages of Pallasgreen, Oola and Monard.
- Approximately 1 km after passing through Monard, you will see the hotel on the right-hand side, opposite Tipperary Racecourse, at Limerick Junction.

The hotel is just 500 metres from Limerick Junction train station.
