Set against a stunning mountain backdrop, this one-stop activity and leisure centre is close to the beautiful shores of Kenmare Bay, on the Iveragh peninsula, in the south of County Kerry.

With spa facilities and on-site activities such as horse-riding, archery and rough-track cycling, the Eclipse Centre offers something for all the family.

Each holiday home at the Eclipse Centre has a spacious kitchen, dining area and living room. The bedrooms are light and airy, with quality oak furniture. Most houses have 2 bathrooms. All have private patios and garden areas. Barbecue facilities are available upon request.

The homes are available to rent for 4 nights or more. Please note that during the months of June, July and August the property operates on a minimum of 7-day stays with check-in and check-out on Saturdays only.

Hotel information

All houses are light and airy with porcelain-tiled or oak flooring, covered with beautifully matched rugs. The well-equipped large kitchen and dining area features walnut units, oak dining tables and leather dining chairs, with French doors to a private patio. Relax in the lovely bright living rooms, tastefully furnished with comfortable leather sofas and flat-screen TVs with satellite channels, DVD player and hi-fi system.

The Eclipse Centre offers you a family holiday with peace, relaxation, adventure and fun in a beautiful and tranquil setting. A sauna, steam room, hot tub and wonderful walks through the estate’s woodland and gardens mean you can combine a leisure experience with a varied activity holiday. A real home from home in scenic Ireland.

One of the cottages has a downstairs single bedroom and a roll-in shower adapted for wheelchair use.

Ready-made gourmet meals are available from the Truffle Pig delicatessen in Kenmare. Kenmare is a 15-minute drive away and has selection of restaurants to suit all budgets, from takeaways to first-class gourmet dining.

Area information

The Eclipse Centre is just off the Ring of Kerry, close to the popular market town of Kenmare and the colourful village of Sneem.

The centre is close to Killarney National Park and lakes, with Killarney town centre only a 35-minute drive away.

With stunning views of the MacGillycuddy Reeks mountain range, the Eclipse Centre is an ideal location for touring by car or bicycle as well as hiking.

The Iveragh peninsula and nearby Beara peninsula have stunning coastal routes and eco-trip boat tours are available to view seals, seabirds, whales and dolphins.

First-class gourmet dining is available in nearby Kenmare, as well as a range of excellent pub food and Italian, Indian and Chinese cuisine.
