For the golfing enthusiast the hotel is in a great location for sampling some of the best golf courses in the Shannon region. Guests are entitled to preferential green fees at the magnificent Dromoland golf course on which the hotel is situated. Also available are 34 new 2-bedroom family lodges, situated within the grounds of the Clare Inn estate. Each lodge has its own en suite bathroom facilities. Every lodge has one bedroom with a double bed and one bedroom with 2 single beds. The lodges also each have a kitchenette and a spacious living area. Each lodge has its own car parking space in front of the suite. These suites are ideal for long-stay guests or for families.

Deerfields Restaurant is open for breakfast from 07:30–10:30 and again each evening for full table d’hote dinner from 18:30-21:30.
