Capella Castlemartyr is located 30 minutes from Cork International Airport and 25 minutes from Cork City within a 220 acre estate. The estate consists of a grand 17th century manor house that sits adjacent to the ruins of a 1000-year-old castle, a lake, river and horses grazing in the meadows

All rooms within the Manor House offer stunning views over the lake; the meadow to the front; and formal gardens to the rear.

Each guest room and suite at Capella Castlemartyr was built in 2007.They are all spacious and offer 24-hour room service.

Breakfast is served in the Bell Tower and Garden Rooms each morning from 07:00 until 11:00. Knights Bar is open for coffee and drinks from 12:00 each day. Afternoon tea is served in the bar each day between 14:30 and 17:30. The Garden Room and Terrace serve a daily all-day menu. Dinner is served in the Bell Tower each night from 19:00 until 22:00. The Golf Clubhouse serves food and drinks daily from 12:00 until sundown.

Castlemartyr village is located between the East-Cork towns of Midleton and Youghal on the N25. Capella Castlemartyr is an ideal base from which to discover Stephen Pearce Pottery, Garryvoe Beach, Ballymaloe House, Gardens and Cookery school, and Midleton Whiskey Distillery. All are within 20 minutes’ drive. The English market, which dates back to 1720, features a superb range of food, wines and chocolates daily.

Cobh Heritage Centre, Fota Wildlife Park, Fota House and Gardens, Lismore Castle and Gardens and Ballycotton Cliffs are all within a 30-minute drive of the hotel. Cork city is a 25-minute drive away.

Blarney Castle, Gardens and Stone; Waterford Crystal; Kinsale; Copper Coastal Drive close to Ardmore, and the Knockmealdown mountain range make good day trips.
