The Ivy Bar has a lively evening atmosphere with an extensive bar food menu daily from 12:00 to 21:30. With a warm atmosphere, friendly service and great food, it is ideal for enjoying a light lunch, afternoon tea or evening meal. You can enjoy a range of Irish, European and international dishes. We also offer hot and cold daily specials, as well as fresh seafood from the Atlantic Ocean.
Our chef creates a menu of the highest quality from the traditions of Irish cooking with a modern, delicate touch. The Watermarque Restaurant is designed with the attention to detail that characterises the hotel’s design-led interior with a comfortable ambience. This is a choice venue for a special occasion or any convivial get-together with friends and family.
Taking their inspiration from the best of traditional Irish cuisine, our dishes combine the delicious flavours of Ireland with a deft modern touch. Cahersiveen is halfway round the renowned Ring of Kerry. This is the most scenically beautiful drive in Western Europe and lies at the foot of Beentee Mountain, on the River Fertha overlooking Valentia Harbour.
Traditional fair days or market days are still held on the streets where visitors and locals, young and old, meet and chat. A visit to Cahersiveen ensures intimate bars, superb food, excellent accommodation and a wide range of shops. As a base in the heart of South-West Kerry, Cahersiveen also offers a painter’s paradise.
As well as the breathtaking scenery that is to be found around Cahersiveen, the area also has lots of activities. These include swimming walking, cycling, golf, mountaineering, a varied selection of water sports from diving to windsurfing, deep sea fishing, pony trekking, and shopping.
