A huge advantage of staying here is the free health and relaxation chalet incorporating a hydrotherapy spa and deluxe infrared sauna. Other facilities include 2 Large flood-lit private secure car parks, Secluded Picturesque Gardens, A Resident's Lounge / Reading Room and a Conservatory style Dining Room. Secure Luggage Storage, Late Checkouts and Laundry Service, Facsimile, copying, printing and word processing are all available on request.

General Guest House policies apply. Guests do not have to vacate rooms during the day (except on day of departure). Consumption of "Take-Away Food" and other food items permitted in bedrooms.

Bei Blackrock handelt es sich um ein typisches Dorf mit Golfanlagen, 2 Einkaufszentren, Segelclubs, eleganten Boutiquen und Cafés sowie traditionellen irischen Pubs.

Die charmante Stadt Dalkey mit ihren mittelalterlichen Gassen und Dun Laoghaire liegen 5 Minuten entfernt. Auch zu anderen malerischen Küstenstädten ist es nicht weit.

In der Nähe finden Sie Johnnie Fox's Pub, den höchsten Pub in Irland, die Leopardstown Rennbahn, das Landsdowne Road Rugby-Stadion und den RDS.

If you are using a sat nav and it does not let you enter coordinates, then input Blackrock when asked for city and 28 Brookville Park for the street. If your Sat Nav is a Tom Tom, we suggest putting in 1 Springhill Park for our address.

By coach:

The best coach to catch is the Dalkey Aircoach (blue in colour). You get off at the Monkstown stop which is just outside a pub called Goggins and we will be waiting for you.

By bus from city centre:

Take the 4 bus from O'Connell Bridge (bridge over the Liffey on the main street of Dublin), take bus number 4, which will travel out in a bus-corridor, and drop you opposite the entrance to Brookville House in 20-25 mins. This bus goes every 15 minutes on weekdays. It also goes on weekends, however on Saturdays and Sundays the 46A provides a more frequent service into the city centre at 10 minute intervals (in Dublin you catch it on D'Olier Street), this is a 5 minute walk away (at the Deansgrange Crossroads, you will see the Grange Pub) straight down the Deansgrange Road. The 45 bus also goes from outside our gate and this goes as far as Merrion Square in Dublin City Centre. On Fridays and Saturdays nitelink buses such as 84N run from midnight to 4am in the morning from D'Olier Street just beside O Connell Bridge on the Trinity side, these drop you a 5 minute walk from us.

By train (DART):

From Connolly Station, take the DART (electric train) to Blackrock and then take the 4 bus as detailed above or you can take the D.A.R.T. (electric train) to Dun Laoghaire and outside the Station, take the bus number 63, for 8 minutes and get off at the shop called "Primetime Quick Pick", the Abbey Road stop. The bus will turn left, but you walk straight through the roundabout and down the hill called Stradbrook Hill, for four minutes and you will see Brookville House across the road from the new signal junction. The hotel often will collect you from Blackrock Station if they are notified by phone when leaving Connolly Station.
