Travel information

By Sea:
A 20-minute journey by ferry will take you from Tarbert in North Kerry across the Shannon Estuary to Killimer in County Clare. This will save you 137 km going from terminal to terminal. The ferry leaves Killimer every hour on the hour and Tarbert every hour on the half-hour. No reservations are necessary.

Burren Walking Lodge offers all guests our Signature Express check-in and out.

Your Signature Express Envelope, including your keys, will be waiting on arrival at the Hylands Burren Hotel reception desk. Your credit card will be charged prior to departure and your payment receipt will be included and delivered to your room. Please leave your Signature Express check-out envelope at the Burren Walking Lodge Reception on departure.
