The Highland Centre offers both made up beds and sleeping bag accommodation including 26 rooms with double beds, 30 rooms with twin beds and 17 additional rooms with twin beds.

Take Highway Road one, which is the main ring road around Iceland, east through the mountains towards Selfoss. Pass through Selfoss and drive east towards Hella. 10 km east of Selfoss turn left onto road no. 30.
Continue 15 km following the signs for Sprengisandur and then turn right onto road no. 32. This road will take you 60 km to an intersection where you find road no. 26 (F26), follow road F26 and after 10 km you find the Highland Centre & Guesthouse Hrauneyjar on your right hand side and Hotel Highland 1.4 km further on your left.
