The hotel’s well reputed and romantic gourmet restaurant seats 60 people downstairs and 50 upstairs in the meeting room. The emphasis is on excellent yet personal service and using the highest quality food with organic local ingredients. The theme is Icelandic/Scandinavian with a touch of the modern French and Italian kitchen.
A splendid river view from the restaurant’s windows adds to the diners' enjoyment. The wine list and the selection of vintage champagnes, whiskeys, sherries, cognacs and cigars is presently unchallenged in Iceland outside the capital, and can all be enjoyed upstairs in the cognac lounge.
Hotel Ranga also features their almost legendary Scandinavian Christmas Buffet, where over 60 different mouthwatering dishes from all the Scandinavian countries are delicately prepared and served. Companies are already booking this highlighted event one year in advance to ensure availability.

- From the airport take the main road to Reykjavik and look for signs for Road One.
- Upon reaching the junction take the Highway Road One (the main ring road around Iceland) east through the mountains towards Selfoss.
- Go through Selfoss and drive east towards Hella.
- Pass through Hella, continue for eight kilometres and turn right at the sign for the ranch. The hotel is on the right.
