Hotel Wollner

Housed in a restored, 300 year-old Baroque-style building, Hotel Wollner is located in a pedestrian area of Sopron's Old Town and offers gourmet cuisine, garage parking and free Wi-Fi.

Each room in the Hotel Wollner has an en-suite bathroom and features period furniture and rich fabrics.

The elegant baroque-style restaurant offers gourmet cuisine including Hungarian and local specialities. In the 300-year-old cellar you can enjoy the very best wines from the Sopron and Tokaj regions in cosy atmosphere. In summer breakfast, lunch and dinner can be served in the pleasantly cool, Baroque-style inner courtyard. Reservations for lunch are recommended.

On the first floor of the hotel an exit leads to the remains of a fortress from the Roman age, which today features a wonderful garden. Here you can also see a part of the medieval city wall.

Motorbikes and bikes can be parked for free in the courtyard.

In the Baroque-style restaurant you can choose from delicious dishes of both the Hungarian and the international cuisine (seating capacity: 40 guests).

The Flandorffer room is excellently suited for small family gatherings, weddings and company trainings (seating capacity: 22 guests).

The 300-year-old wine cellar is great for romantic events and wine tastings. (seating capacity: 50 guests).

Apart from the picturesque city of Sopron the very close Fertö Lake (Lake Neusiedl / Neusiedlersee) as well as the cities of Fertörákos, Nagycenk, the Eszterháza castle and the Austrian towns of Eisenstadt, Rust, St. Margarethen and Mörbisch are definitely worth a visit with the latter offering fantastic open-air concerts.

Guests coming with a car can enter the pedestrian zone through an entry system; parking is available 150 metres away from the hotel in the city garage.

Please note that the restaurant and the wine cellar are closed on Sundays and Mondays.
