The immediate environment of Hévíz offers a huge range of leisure activities for tourists. As a part of the Balaton Highland National Park and together with the Keszthely mountains with its unique natural treasures, the protected flora and fauna of the Small Balaton has been a nature reserve since the 1920s.
The Festetics Castle in Keszthely and the fortress of Sümeg attract visitors throughout the year because of their architectural, cultural and historical value.

They are tempted to go for a nice walk in the woods around the lake or to take a hike up the hills of the unique Keszthely mountains and in the Balaton country. In summer guests can bathe in the lake where you also find a pool for kids. Due to its particular micro climate, the town is pleasant in autumn and winter as well.
