The Bacchus Hotel Panzió is right next to Szépasszonyvölgy ("Beautiful Women's Valley", a famous wine district of Eger) and only a 10-minute walk away from the historical town centre and the thermal bath.

The hotel has an atmosphere of intimacy with its 14 bedrooms, and there is another, newly built property next to it with 9 other bedrooms. The property is located in a quiet, residential area. You will have a beautiful garden with a playground at your disposal. In the hotel restaurant you can enjoy a delicious meal that can also be served on the terrace. The building has its own separate parking garage that is locked, for the safety of your car. We have an exclusive conference room for about 60 people and a lounge for 20 people.

Room information

Most of our rooms have a balcony. We recommend our hotel rooms to couples because of the double beds and the bathroom with a bubble bath. You get a fine view from the balconies to our garden, which is sunny and quiet. We have rooms for disabled with special bathrooms and enough place for wheel-chairs.

Area information

Eger is situated between the mountains Mátra and Bükk and is 120 kilometres away from the capital, Budapest. Its outlook and atmosphere have been formed by the historical storms of long centuries. To this day you will find many ancient buildings that witnessed all periods in the city's history, including Eger Fortress, which has been famous since the Turkish occupation.Thermal baths with hot water provide the opportunity for taking a cure, recreation and open-air bathing. Last but not least, Eger has become famous for its wines, the most reputed among which is the Bull's Blood of Eger.

Guests coming by bus or train can reach us with a 15-minute walk. Transfer arranged by the hotel is available upon request.
