You can choose to enjoy holidays by the sea in the sun, or with the luxury of a swimming pool, snack bar and restaurant. You will also have the option to visit some of the most wonderful archaeological sites of the Peloponnese. Tolo (Tolon) is well-known for its sandy beach which runs the length of the village. It is close to archaeological sites such as Epidavros Theatre, Mycenae, Olympia, Sparta / Mystra, Korinthos and many others, a couple of hours drive from the resort. Organised excursions to these sites run daily during the summer months, as do cruise boats to Poros, Hydra and Spetses from the harbour.

The town of Nafplion is found just 10 minutes away and, being the first capital of Greece, attracts an enormous amount of interest all year round. The town features the Palamidi Castle high on top of the hill. The Bourtzi Castle can also be seen in the harbour and the many narrow Venetian streets are lined with taverns and gift shops. The local bus service runs every hour from Tolo to Nafplion.

There are a great deal of other activities in the area depending on how you would like to spend your time. Some examples are:
- Water sports.
- Scuba diving.
- Kite surfing (in nearby Nafplion).
- Walking.
- Bird watching.
- Nature treks.
- Wine tasting (Nemea).
- Skiing in the winter months (in Tripoli or Kalavrita).
