Tolo, also known as Tolon, is a fishing village approximately 12 kilometers away from Nafplion, the first capital of Greece.
The seaside village of Tolo is build in an amphitheatrical shape around the main sandy beach of the village called “Psili Ammos” meaning “Fine Sand” . Tolo, where Amaryllis hotel apartments are situated, is well know for it’s many excellent fish tavernas and good traditional restaurants some situated right on Tolo beach. In the area of Tolo, beyond the many fish tavernas and restaurants, one can find quite a few bars and nightclubs to spend the night away in the company of Greek or foreign music. Tolo resort offers many facilities for the holidaymaker including supermarkets, 2 banks, an internet cafe, tourist offices where one can book their trips to Spetses or Poros islands nearby, a trip to Monemvasia, Nafplion, Mycenae, Epidavros amphitheater and any other of the numerous sights and areas nearby Tolo.
From Tolo there are daily boat trips to the uninhabited islands of Romvi and Koronisi. The same boats also have daily trips to the beautiful beaches of Plaka which is situated around 2 kilometers away from Tolo and Kondili beach around 4 kilometers away .
