Totally rebuilt in 2007, our intimate boutique hotel is located in Platanes village, 4 km from Rethymno and just 400 metres from the local blue flag awarded sandy beach.

Platanes is a popular place for holiday makers, offering its visitors a wide selection of fine restaurants, traditional taverns, cosmopolitan cafes and a relaxing sandy beach which is ideal for water sports or simply lying under the sun. The village also features a regular bus service to and from the city of Rethymno.

Alongside providing the sparkling and exclusive accommodation, the required facilities for families and couples and reasonable prices, our aim is to create the best possible services for our guests, based on the famous friendly and genuine Cretan hospitality for a comfortable, satisfying and relaxed holiday.

La Stella Hotel Apartments & Suites is a modern 3-star complex, thoughtfully designed so that it lies in harmony with the surrounding areas, whilst offering a pleasant and comfortable stay. La Stella has 27 spacious and furnished apartments and studios.

The hotel has a large pool for adults (85 m²) and a separate one for children (6m²). In the pool area there is a lounge with satellite TV available to customers.

Suites:
The balcony offers a magnificent view of the sea and amphitheatrical view of the village.
The suite has a fireplace and the kitchen is fully equipped with all facilities including a juicer. Your stay in the suite at La Stella will feel like a home away from home!

Apartments:
The 2-room apartments accommodate 1-4 people. There are also very spacious apartments with 3 rooms suitable for 1-6 people and large families. Some apartments have a bathtub while the others have showers. Finally, there are apartments on the ground floor that facilitate the needs of guests with disabilities. All apartments have balconies overlooking the pool or the mountains and some have sea view.

Studios:
The studios (one room) can accommodate 1-3 people and are available with a double bed or single beds. There are also ground floor studios for guests with disabilities. All studios have a balcony overlooking the pool or the mountains and some with sea

The pool cafe is open from early morning till late evening serving refreshing juices and beverages, light meals and breakfasts.

The main bar is open from late afternoon till late at night serving drinks of your preference.
