Kykladitikos Kedros

Named after the 500-year-old Cycladic cedar tree in the yard, these studios are located steps from the sea, on a quiet and almost isolated beach.

Between the popular Kolibithres and Monastiri Beach in the north of Paros, the studios are only 3.5 km from the vibrant town of Naoussa. The unspoilt area is a heaven of pure natural beauty and tranquillity, and is ideal for those looking to enjoy a quiet, peaceful holiday away from it all.

See the sun rising from behind the tiny islet of Taxiarhes, and in the evening cast your eyes over the sparkling lights of Naoussa, glittering from across the water. Head into the colourful town for restaurants, bars and nightlife.

Kykladitikos Kedros is a brand new building on a 13,000m² unspoiled piece of land, where children can play safely all over the property.

The Skourtis family come from a Greek-German background and want to make their contribution to the protection of the environment. Consequently, there are solar heaters for hot water and no swimming pool or air conditioning. Rainwater is gathered during winter to be used in the garden, where the wild vegetation has been retained. The amazing 500-year-old cedar tree invites you to sit nearby and read and relax.

Self-catering, fully equipped studios have a kitchen corner with fridge, cooking plates and cupboards, and a table and chairs.

There is a wardrobe, and 2 or 3 single beds which can be fitted together as double bed. There is a bathroom with shower-cabin and balcony or terrace facing the sea. Balconies have a sitting corner with a table and pergola. Some studios have also sitting corner with a table facing the hills.

Single or double beds are available. Please request your bed type prior to arrival and state whether you require single or double sheets.

Mineral water is supplied.

The area is fascinating for nature-lovers and birdwatchers and there is even some interesting geology with the unique rocks found at Kolibithres Beach.
Sports lovers will find appropriate conditions for jogging, hiking and horse-riding, while you can take to the sea with scuba-diving or sailing boats.

The ancient quarries are a 15 minute drive away and in 10 minutes you can reach Lefkes village with its Byzantine path.

By car from the main port of Parikia:
- Take the central road to Naoussa.
- Before you reach the town, you will see a sign on your left showing the way to Kolibithres.
- Turn left and keep going towards the right.
- After you pass Kolibithres beach, you will see a road sign on the right for Kykladitikos Kedros.
- Turn down the small road just after it and head all the way to the sea.
- You will see the studios in front of you. The town of Naoussa is 3.5 kilometres away and there is a small boat to take you there.
